Cataract surgery

A cataract is a clouding of the lens that usually manifests itself through a gradual degradation of visual acuity at an elder age. The main method to treat this condition is a surgery to replace a damaged lens with an artificial one thus restoring the lost clear eyesight and enjoyment in life. The surgery is safe, painless, quick (20–30 min) and allows the patient to leave for home treatment on the same day. The early results show up during the first days after the intervention and become even clearer afterwards.

Strabismus surgery

Strabismus is a disorder worsening the quality of everyday life and is expressed by constant or periodic deviation of one eye from the same fixation point. Surgery is carried out when conventional treatment is ineffective. The aim of the surgery for children is to re-establish binocular vision whereas the aim for adults is to achieve an aesthetic effect – straight eyes position or minimum strabismus angle. After the surgery you will feel more self-confident and will be able to forget all inner fears when communicating with others.
