Erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is a repeated inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis during sexual intercourse. Erectile dysfunction often occurs during sexual activity. Erectile dysfunction and its types are typically diagnosed during the visit to a urologist. The diagnosis is based on symptoms, echoscopy, testosterone test, glycemia, thyroid hormone concentration in blood, possible penile brachial pressure index.


  • Medical treatment improving blood flow to penis is prescribed.
  • Other kind of treatment which decreases anxiety before sexual intercourse is prescribed.
  • Injection treatment is used to help to relax muscle tissue in the penis through the injected medication to the penis. While taking this kind of medicine, erection does not depend on excitement. Erection occurs in thirty minutes after taking the medicine.
  • If erectile dysfunction treatment medicine is not effective, them pumps or implant prothesis are used.
